It’s her consistency and her relatability that has kept her in the spotlight, as well as her successful businesses and fascination with her relationship. Fury and Mae broke up in August 2024, and their split sent the internet into a frenzy, showing how many people focus on Mae’s life.
However, the 25-year-old has gone on to big and better things, launching a clothing line Maebe at the end of last year and now her new Amazon Prime documentary. Along her journey she’s had many business ventures and lucrative deals and created a generous net worth for herself, but how much is she worth?
Early Life
Molly-Mae Hague was 26 May 1999 in Hertfordshire, England. She grew up in Hitchin and both her parents were police officers. When she was a teenager, she participated in beauty pageants and won Miss Teen Hertfordshire in 2015. When she was younger she worked as a lifeguard, in a hairdressers and as a toilet cleaner. Later, she slowly got into YouTube.
The channel was created in 2016 and she posted her first video in July 2018, titled Oh Polly Haul | Try On. From here, the young influencer built a presence on Instagram and Youtube, until 2019 when she was scouted for the dating show.
She spoke about how she almost didn’t do the show after learning that she wouldn’t be in the original cast in her book, Becoming Molly-Mae.
“Things were going well for me business-wise: my Instagram was growing rapidly and organically. I knew that I could go on the show and potentially damage that,” the 25-year-old said.
“If you say something wrong, you could ruin your reputation. So, it was a lot to think about.
“A lot of people were saying to me, You don’t really need it. You can do this without it. I listened to all that … and decided that I’d do it anyway.”
And the rest was history.
Molly Mae’s career
As Mae herself said, her career was going well pre-Love Island. She was making Instagram sponsorship money and establishing herself in the UK influencer scene, but Love Island launched her career. Yes, the show did add considerably to Mae’s net worth.
Post-Love Island career
People were in love with her and Fury, although there was speculation their relationship was fake. So fake that it lasted 5 years, yeah right. But outside of her relationships, she made movements.
Shortly after leaving Love Island as a runner-up, she became a brand ambassador for Pretty Little Thing. The Sun reported the news in August 2019 after the influencer flew to LA to shoot a campaign. The deal was worth £500,000 ($610,000). When working as a brand ambassador, she shot many campaigns and had collections with PLT.
Fast forward to the end of 2019, the influencer launched her self-tanning range Filter by Molly-Mae. Fans were envious of her glow on the show and afterwards, so the business idea was perfect. Filter is sold in the UK online and in major UK beauty store Boots.
Filter was another success and is now a highly-respected tanning brand in the UK community that has expanded to bundles, makeup bags, tanning accessories, and scrunchies.
PLT Creative Director Era
Throughout 2020 she continued her sponsorships, partnering with brands like Look Fantastic and BeautyWorks but her big move came in August 2021. She became the creative director for Pretty Little Thing in a huge deal.
She stayed in the role for almost two years, overseeing the creative direction of Pretty Little Thing and continuing to create directions. She stepped down from the role in June 2023 which reportedly had a six-figure salary, adding considerably to Mae’s net worth.
Mae’s net worth reaches millionaire status
In 2021 she reportedly became a millionaire after from her work with Pretty Little Thing and Filter. The Sun reported on Mae’s earnings from her company, MH Holdings, showcasing the jaw-dropping money she was bringing in from her businesses.
TV appearances and collaborations
In 2023 she dipped her toes into reality TV, appearing on the show At Home With The Furys, focusing on Tyson Fury and his family. She also landed a huge deal with L’Oreal in March 2024 as a brand ambassador.
In June 2024, she continued her brand-loving streak by becoming a brand ambassador for Look Fantastic.
Maebe clothing line launch
In August 2024, shortly after her split from Fury, the mom-of-one teased a “big secret project” in her vlog. In her video ‘Hi’, she addressed her viewers, focusing on her new business venture.
She said: “I started working on this before I fell pregnant with Bambi, so…she’s going to be two soon, I think it’s got to be like two and half years that this has been in the works”.
She teased the date of the project’s announcement, and the clothing line officially came out on 29 September.
Maebe now has over 600,000 followers on Instagram. Mae’s brand focuses on capsule and timeless wardrobe pieces, a trend that has been rampant over the past few years. The launch did face some controversy, with social media users criticizing the clothing line’s quality and pricing. The influencer touched on the controversy in the documentary, according to Grazia UK.
Molly-Mae: Behind It All docu-series
In November 2024, it was announced that Mae would be the star of her own Amazon Prime docu-series, Molly Mae: Behind It All. The synopsis read: “We’ll see Molly-Mae adapt to the challenges of motherhood, all while preparing to launch her biggest business venture to date: ‘Maebe,’. It continued:“In this intimate look, we uncover how these experiences have shaped her into the powerhouse entrepreneur she is today.”
“This is Molly-Mae as you’ve never seen her before — raw, real, and redefining what it means to be successful under intense public scrutiny.”
The trailer was released in December, and the first three episodes were released on January 17. The buzz has already been evident, with news outlets reporting on every moment shown in Mae’s documentary. Nobody doubts that this show will do well, and add considerably to Mae’s net worth.
Molly-Mae’s net worth and earnings
With such a diverse career in the short five years since her Love Island stint, Mae’s net worth is high. According to The Daily Mail, Mae’s net worth is approximately £6 million ($7.3 million). In 2023, The Mirror reported she earned £3.4 million ($4.1 million) in just one year!
Pretty Little Thing earnings
As her first big career move, Mae’s work with Pretty Little Thing got the ball rolling for her net worth. As previously stated she worked with PLT, and was paid £500,000 when she signed as a brand ambassador with the company in 2019.
During those two years, she reportedly took home a six-figure salary each year, so that is at least $100,000. Moving onto her Creative Director role at the company, she was apparently paid £400,000 a month ($487,000 a month), equating to £5 million ($6 million) a year. Undoubtedly, this career move put Mae’s net worth into the millions.
Filter earnings
Filter has stood the test of time in terms of its popularity, but it also has for its net worth. In 2o21 The Sun reported Mae was earning £11,000 a week! ($13,400) The figures came from August 2019 to August 2020. The companies included in the earnings from Molly Mae Holdings fell under three businesses. The article states: “There are three businesses under the group’s umbrella: Filter, MMH International, and FM Cosmetics. Molly-Mae’s bills total £232,662, with £159,809 in corporation tax”.
As of 2025, the brand is worth close to £1 million ($1.2 million), although this is a ballpark estimate.
Maebe earnings
As of now, there is no confirmed figure of how much Maebe is worth, or how much our fave influencer earns from it. However, because even the restock in October sold out in 3 minutes, we’d bet that Mae’s pockets are full from that alone.
Maebe’s main collection ranges from £35 ($42) to £90 ($109) so she’s making bank either way.
Mae’s net worth – real estate and investment
As an influencer projecting a lavish lifestyle, of course, Mae would have the house and investments to match. In 2022 Mae’s net worth proved to be growing, as the influencer and her boyfriend moved into a gorgeous Cheshire mansion together in North West England. The huge home is worth £4 million ($4.8 million) and the influencer bought it in 2022 for around £3.8 million ($4.6 million).
Even though her ex moved out in August, Mae still lives in the house with her daughter Bambi.
Investments
Mae’s investments are not public information, but she seems to have a luxury lifestyle with luxury cars, bags, and designer items. She has been spotted driving in a G-Wagon and a Mercedes and posing with her designer bags.
Brand deals and endorsements
Of course, we know by now her biggest deal was with Pretty Little Thing as an ambassador and creative director, but Mae has had big deals with other brands.
BeautyWorks
BeautyWorks worked with Mae back in 2019 on a range of hair extensions. She has her own collection with them, Molly Mae X BeautyWorks. The collection includes styling tools, hair extensions, and hair accessories. Many of the extensions are priced at over £100, which raised eyebrows from fans in the past.
In 2022, she reportedly signed a new seven-figure deal with the company after the success of her hair extension line.
Lo’Real Ambassador
She did partner with Look Fantastic, but as an ambassador, one of Mae’s biggest achievements was her deal with Lo’Real, which was announced in March 2024. Since then she has been the face of many of their social media posts, promoting LO’Real products. Once again this deal was reported to be a “seven-figure deal”, according to a source who spoke to The Sun.
The source said: “The deal is worth seven figures and is one of her biggest deals yet”.
Amazon Prime deal
Although her show has just come out, it is anticipated that Mae’s docu-series will do well in viewing figures. If that is the case, the streaming service could renew her deal for another season of the documentary series. However, there is no information yet on the show’s viewing figures, nor how much Mae was paid for the doc.
Regardless, that will certainly be a huge deal, and Mae’s net worth will continue to grow in 2025 from her business ventures.
