- Taylor Swift was booed by Eagles fans inside Caesars Superdome
- The Super Bowl crowd is reportedly “80% Eagles fans”
- Swift took the boos in good nature

Taylor Swift was met with a reception that has been relatively alien to her, when her introduction at Super Bowl LIX was met with a chorus of boos.
The Grammy Award hoarding singer songwriter, in attendance at the Big Game in support of her boyfriend – Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce – was shown on the big screen inside Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. And then the boos rained down.
Despite the Chiefs being the reigning Super Bowl champions, with three of the last four titles sitting in their trophy cabinet, their fans were significantly outnumbered inside the Superdome by a raucous Eagles contingent.
The Philadelphian attendees were reported to make up 80% of the crowd, according to The Athletic, and were more than ready to let rip with some (relatively) light hearted booing towards the Bad Blood phenom.
And, in Swift’s defence, she did shake it off very well.

Swift, accompanied by Ice Spice as she was at last year’s Super Bowl, gave a little side eye to the big screen before bursting into laughter. Given how unanimously Eagles fans were outnumbering Chiefs fans inside the Superdome, and how the Chiefs have become public enemy number one in the NFL due to their recent dominance and the perceived favouring of them by NFL officials, it should come as no surprise that Swift would receive a relatively hostile reception. But perhaps it’s not as hostile as the one Travis Kelce and the Chiefs are currently receiving from the Eagles in the first half of the Super Bowl, where they trail 24-0.
But Eagles fans didn’t reserve their boos for Taylor Swift. Mad Men star Jon Hamm received an earful of abuse as he introduced his beloved Chiefs to the pitch ahead of the game kicking off.
