Millie Bobby Brown “is going to be fine” after the end of Stranger Things, according to her on-screen ‘Papa’, Matthew Modine.
The actor was reflecting on the ending of the Netflix series – which will soon drop the final episodes on the streaming service – and offered his opinions on the Enola Holmes star.
He told PEOPLE magazine, “Most of my involvement with the show is really with Millie, so I’m happy that she has a really robust post–Stranger Things film schedule ahead of her, so she’s going to be fine.”

What has Millie Bobby Brown been doing since Stranger Things?

Brown shot to fame on the show – which is set in the 80s and in the fictional Indiana town of Hawkins – when she was a pre-teen. Alongside her similar-aged co-stars like Finn Wolfhard, she has gone on to new heights of her fame.
Since playing Eleven, Brown has had starring roles in many projects. These include Enola Holmes and Godzilla: King of the Monsters. She even snagged a literary achievement with her first novel, Nineteen Steps.

On the personal front, she got hitched to Jake Bongoivi in 2024. The 22-year-old model is the son of the Bon Jovi frontman, Jon Bon Jovi.
During a recent spot on the Today show, Modine spoke about how he was the wedding officiant at their nuptials. He imagined it would be “really funny and silly” but found it to be a great honour.
Together, Brown and Bongoivit live on a farm in Georgia with a string of animals like goats, chickens and many more.

“I don’t have many friends because of who I am. I didn’t go to school, so I don’t have the best social skills when it comes to people my own age and friendships. I struggle with that quite a bit. I missed out on a few things. But I’m working through them,” Brown told the magazine.
