Millie Bobby Brown has hit headlines recently, after speaking out against those who have criticized her appearance

So it was refreshing to see the actor, 21, looking so happy and relaxed when she appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show this week.

Promoting her new movie, The Electric State, Brown was asked by Barrymore about how she had taken “literal inspiration” from other celebrity looks while on her recent press tour.

Pulling up comparison pictures of Brown next to Shania Twain and Emma Bunton (aka Baby Spice), Barrymore also noticed that Brown was wearing identical outfits in two of the snaps to Pamela Anderson and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Brown confirmed that the two dresses had actually come from Anderson and Paltrow’s wardrobes, and continued, “I was so lucky. For me, it was always very important to… being on the press tour, I love being as sustainable as possible.

“And wearing their clothes, I mean, it was just like… to try and embody what that felt like, the glamour. And also, I was channeling blond bombshells of the nineties. I’m wearing Paris Hilton later on today.”

She added, “So I’ve been able to not only wear their clothes, but connect with them and be able to talk to them.”

Brown then went on to praise the older actors’ generosity.

“Pammy was the most… she sent me a rack of clothes,” Brown revealed. “Like a rack of all her different outfits. Pammy was so, so beautiful and generous.”

She continued, “Gwyneth was unbelievable. I sent her that picture of her, and I said, ‘Do you still have this?’

“And she said, Are you kidding me?’ She immediately sent me a video of her in her closet. She picked it out and sent it to me, overnighted it. Just that generous. It’s so cool.”

Fans heap praise on Pamela Anderson and Gwyneth Paltrow

Fans went wild for Brown’s comments, and couldn’t help but be in awe Paltrow, 52, and Anderson, 57.

“Pamela Anderson and Gwyneth Paltrow giving Millie their 90s archives is seriously so sweet and cool,” said one. Another added, “Mille is so lucky! Getting a piece of 90s history from Pamela and Gwyneth is unreal.”

Someone else went on, “Millie getting the ultimate ‘90s fashion blessing from two icons talk about passing the style torch in the coolest way.”

Another praised, “I don’t care about the Hollywood s***, I don’t care if Millie is a good actress. These legends giving their clothes and wisdom so freely to a young Hollywood babe is so f***ing nice to hear. The girlies supporting the girlies is all I want in life.”

Someone else agreed, “I love the idea of icons passing down their archives to the baby stars like a baton of serve. I love the sustainability, I love the sisterhood, I love the mentorship. More of this.”

Other fans praised Millie Bobby Brown’s style

Of course, with every interview, there is bound to be some negativity.

While some branded fans “idolizing Hollywood celebrities” as “lame”, another said the Brown’s interview “feels desperate for attention”.

“You just discovered what movie promotion is,” someone clapped back.

Others went on to praise Brown’s looks.

“Say what you want about her style but she’s the only one doing the 90s/Y2K aesthetic correctly while these other girls struggle to put together a look,” wrote one.

Another added, “I’m obsessed with everything she’s wearing atm. The mob wife hair is [perfect].”

Someone else added, “She looks soooooo good blonde, it’s unbelievable.”
