Fans have been paying tribute to gaming YouTuber P2isthename, who has unexpectedly died at the age of 26.

The internet personally, whose real name was Philip Enewally, passed away on Friday (14 March). Los Angeles Coroner’s Office confirmed his death and listed Enewally’s place of death as “the mail room,” presumably in the building where he lived. No cause of death has been mentioned.

Enewally was perhaps best known for his walkthroughs of titles like Fortnite and NBA 2K series. He had recently launched his own clothing line, Don’t Mind Us. His channel had amassed 3.8 million subscribers and he had last posted a video two weeks ago.

“You were like my childhood”

Fans of the YouTuber have been rushing to pay tribute and share memories of Enewally.

“rip P2isthename you were like my childhood bro,” someone wrote.

“I was a fan of P2istheName when he made 2k content and his pranks with his cousin, man this year really does suck,” another fan said.

Someone else added: “RIP P2isthename, this is really heartbreaking honestly, fly high king.”

P2isthename’s life and career

The YouRTuber had been making videos for close to 10 years. At one point, his videos amassed millions of views, but more recently they were averaging around 20,000-60,000 views.

In recent videos, Enewally was saying that he’s “lost” on YouTube and was “going through it”, while also having a difficult time figuring out what to do next with his following on the platform.

There was also suggestion of him planning to leave LA and move to Atlanta.
