- The legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has made headlines
- New documentary will help to lay out the arguments
- Documentary will run in the US before the end of the month

The legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has regularly made headlines this year and now a new documentary is setting out the details of it.
The legal claim made by Lively against Baldoni came after the actress starred in It Ends With Us, which was directed by the latter. This has been followed by a counter-claim from Baldoni.
Lively first filed a complaint against Baldoni in December 2024 and his production studio Wayfayer, claiming he launched a smear campaign against her in the press and sexually assaulted her.
In January 2025, Baldoni filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively, refuting her allegations.
There have since been claims and counter-claims, clips leaked online and more. The various twists and turns in this case have dominated the entertainment news over the past four months, with a similar following on social media. Swift production
The documentary, He Said, She Said: Blake Lively vs Justin Baldoni, has been swiftly produced by ITN Productions. It will examine in-depth the legal claims made by both parties, as well as the reaction to it on social media.
“This special is a timely and in depth telling of the Hollywood story which has captured the global zeitgeist,” said Ian Russell, ITN Productions’ international boss.
Denise Seneviratne, 5’s commissioning editor, added: “It really feels pertinent for us as a channel to be making this film within the context of #MeToo.”
Where can I see Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni documentary
A 90-minute version of He Said, She Said: Blake Lively vs Justin Baldoni will air on the newly rebranded 5 channel in the UK tonight [March 17].
Viewers in the US have a little longer to wait to see the documentary – it will stream on Max and Discovery+ on March 31. However, US viewers will only be able to see a 60-minute version of the documentary.
The trail in this case will not be heard until March 2026, so there is plenty of time for this to snowball further. It is likely that there will also be other documentaries made on this case before and – assuming it gets that far – after the trial.
