- Jon Gries has appeared in all three White Lotus seasons
- He plays Tanya’s widower, Greg/Gary, in the show
- Could the actor be coming back for the eagerly awaited fourth series?

The White Lotus has very little repetition in the cast, as each season sees a fresh crop of holidaymakers rock up to a luxury resort in a new location. Notable faces who have already checked in for some hijinks include Connie Britton, Aubrey Plaza and Michael Imperoli.
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD
One of the only stars to appear in all three seasons of the HBO series is Jon Gries. Questions have circulated about whether he will return in the fourth season, which is now in pre-production. The origins of these queries come from his on-screen girlfriend, Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon).
Gries weighed in on Le Bon, suggesting he, now going as Gary, was the most likely to come back, saying that to guess what Mike White is up to might be a fool’s game, but he would be up for any opportunity to come back.

“Well, you never know. She’s cagey. She’s from Montreal. But there’s no trying to predict anything Mike White does. I never presumed I’d be in season two. Same for season three,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “Everything he does has an element of surprise to it. Yes, I would love to come back. But does the book on Greg seem like it’s complete? I can’t tell you.
When did Jon Gries first appear in The White Lotus?

He made his debut as Greg, the seemingly hapless man Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge) found outside her Maui suite at the end of the first season in 2021. As newlyweds, the pair visited the Sicily location. While on the trip, the legitimacy of their romance looks to come apart at the seams. After he leaves to attend to a business matter, Tanya gets adopted by a group of fabulous gays. However, when things get a bit sinister, a throwback photo of Quentin (Tom Hollander) and Greg pin him potentially having involvement in her looming death.
In the third season, now going as Gary and living in Thailand, he is seen hanging around the pool with Chloe, who makes friends with Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood). The Manucian hotel guest is on a jaunt with her much-older boyfriend Rick (Walton Goggins).

He seems harmless until he runs into Belinda (Natasha Rothwell), who made friends with Tanya in Hawaii. The heiress promised the spa manager capital for her to start her own business, but it never materialised due to her relationship with Greg.

To get Belinda to stop digging around in the circumstances of Tanya’s death, Gary wires a whopping $5 million to her checking account after negotiations with her son Zion (Nicholas Duvernay).
