Another teaser for Ginny and Georgia season 3 is finally here. One character’s fate is hinted at. Season 3 will drop in June, with fans waiting two years to see what becomes of Wellsbury’s best mom. Season 2 premiered in January 2023, and the show was renewed for seasons 3 and 4 in May 2023.

The show, created by Sarah Lampert, follows young mom Georgia Miller (now Randolph) and her daughter Ginny Miller as they settle in the New England town of Wellsbury.

But Georgia, played by Brianne Howey, has dark secrets and skeletons in her closet that threaten to uproot the family’s new suburban life.

Warning: This article contains spoilers for season 1 and season 2.

At the end of Season 2, authorities arrest Georgia and charge her with murdering Tom Fuller, Cynthia’s (Sabrina Grdevich) husband. Since he is gravely ill, Georgia suffocates him, believing she is performing a mercy killing. However, Georgia has killed another man as well, which is why investigators are already looking into her.

Now the season 3 teaser shows Georgia in prison and how Ginny (Antonia Gentry) handles it. See here what we think of the new teaser.

What happens in the Ginny and Georgia teaser?

Here is the teaser trailer.

Despite it being obvious, the trailer begins with a glimpse of Georgia in prison. Then we move to a clip of Ginny walking down the school hallway. As she walks, she says, “What happens when everything falls apart? The rug can be pulled out from under you in a second,” suggesting Ginny’s life is also turned upside down by her mom’s arrest.

If we were to guess, this could mean that Ginny resents Georgia for fighting hard for her children and abandoning them. Alternatively, maybe Ginny has become the subject of high school whispers, which ruins her fresh start in Wellsbury.

Possibly, now that Ginny’s legal guardian is gone, maybe she lives with her father, Zion (Nathan Mitchell). On the other hand, she could be living with Paul Randolph (Scott Porter), Georgia’s new husband.

Next, the clip transitions between Georgia being led by a security guard or a law enforcement officer and Ginny walking.

In a quick clip, a gavel is used, alluding to viewers seeing Georgia’s trial and maybe her trial verdict. Afterwards, Georgia speaks to someone and asks, “Don’t you want to ask me if I did it?” Perhaps she is speaking to Ginny. These clips seem to be in order, as Georgia looks as if she’s at home, which could mean she was acquitted.

Alternatively, she may be talking to Paul as he has believed the best in Georgia until season 2.

Other plot points

Later, we see Joe (Raymond Ablack) and Gil (Aaron Ashmore) looking angry in separate clips. If we were to bet, Joe is angry on Georgia’s behalf, and Gil threatens Georgia. After all, Georgia did frame Gil for embezzlement, and then used his actual crimes against him.

While visiting his wife, a conflicted Paul hugs her. This could mean anything. Maybe Paul feels compromised in his position as mayor (his wife is on trial for murder), and doesn’t know what to do. Maybe he is struggling with what she has done.

On a lighter note, GinnyMarcus fans can swoon because there is a glimpse of Marcus (Felix Mallard) and Ginny looking like they are about to lock lips.

Season 2’s end saw Ginny and Marcus sadly part ways with an agreement to be friends due to Marcus’s depression.

Mang are back

Thankfully, there will be some moments of Mang in season 3, which is a relief. In particular, this doesn’t mean much, but it will be interesting to see how Ginny’s friends (especially Max) react to her mom’s arrest.

Concluding the trailer is the icon herself who says, “I’m not a bad person. It’s about perception,” followed by a clip of her smugly smiling in court.

Who Georgia speaks to in that clip remains up for debate. She could be testifying at her trial or talking to someone else. Now, when Georgia looks smug in court, it usually signals that a seed she planted has taken root.

After all, she has got away with murder before. But the question is, how will she get out of this one?
