But while the Harry Potter star, 36, is a household name, fans may be surprised to know that Groome, 33, is also an actor in her own right.
But who is Georgia Groome, and how many children does she share with Grint? Here’s everything we know.
Who is Georgia Groome?
Born in 1992, Groome made her acting debut in the 2001 TV film, A Fish Out of Water.
Five years later, she starred in her first feature film in the British independent movie, London to Brighton.
In 2007, Groome was cast as one of the eight young adventurers on Serious Amazon for CBBC.
But it was in 2008 when Groome received her big break – after being cast as the lead role of Georgia in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging.
Alongside a then-unknown Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Groome played the boy-mad character in the teen rom-com – and won the award for Best Child Actor at the Buster International Children’s Film Festival.
Other bit-part roles came and went, and Groome’s last acting credit came in 2013 – when she played fashion victim Katie in Papadopoulos & Sons.
Why did Georgia Groome quit acting?
While she never officially quit acting, Groome quietly stepped away from the spotlight… and has never publicly revealed why.
However, after beginning a relationship with Grint in 2011, it’s speculated that the star instead wanted to focus on her romance with everyone’s favorite Ron Weasley.

Welcoming their first child in 2020, Grint broke the internet when he joined Instagram – amassing a million followers in just four hours and one minute – to share the news.
“Hey Instagram….only 10 years late, but here I am. Grint on the Gram! Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint. Stay safe, Rupert,” he revealed.
In a similar announcement, Grint also took to the social media platform on April 27, 2025, to post a photo of their second daughter, Goldie.
“Secret Child Slightly Revealed’ Introducing Goldie G. Grint,” he said. “A 10/10 baby (so far).”
What has Rupert Grint said about being a dad?
In an interview with Glamour in 2022, Grint said that he is “absolutely loving” being a father, adding that he’s “still kind of coming to terms with what being a dad is.”
“It’s so much fun. I feel like I’ve changed as a person for sure,” he said. “It kind of happened overnight, lifestyle-wise.
“I stopped smoking straight away. I’ve started sleeping so much better – I used to be a horrific insomniac, now I’m sleeping.”
