Demi Moore had to “compartmentalize” the swimsuit scene in Charlie Angels: Full Throttle.

The Substance star revealed how she had only three weeks to prepare for appearing as Madison Lee.

She made the admission to the show’s host and her former co-star Drew Barrymore. Apparently, Moore had a particular insecurity about her “butt” while filming the beach scene.

“All I remember is begging them not to shoot my butt. I don’t know why that was my obsession,” the 62-year-old actress said while on The Drew Barrymore Show.

The Oscar nominee made the admission to the show’s host and her former co-star, Drew Barrymore, who made up part of the titular trio with Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz.

“I had no time to think about what I looked like, which was almost better,” Moore continued.

What else has Demi Moore said about her body image in her career?

The movie star has been very honest recently about the pressure to not look her age as she navigates a Hollywood career. Moore has acted since childhood.

After establishing herself as one of the biggest names in Hollywood, the Scarlett Letter star has been having something of a late in life renaissance in the Coralie Fargeat horror film The Substance. Along with winning at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, it explored themes like youth, beauty, fame and the dangerous extents some people would go to keep them forever.

In April this year, Moore revealed that she now had “a great appreciation” for her body’s capabilities, like giving the three now-adult daughters she shares with her ex-husband Bruce Willis.

“I have a greater appreciation for all that my body has been through that brought me to now,” the GI Jane star told PEOPLE magazine’s World’s Most Beautiful issue. “It doesn’t mean that sometimes I look in the mirror and don’t go, ‘Oh God, I look old,’ or ‘Oh, my face is falling’ — I do. But I can accept that that’s where I’m at today, and I know the difference today is that it doesn’t define my value or who I am.”
