- Natasha Lyonne latest name to join stellar cast for Fantastic Four film
- Ralph Ineson was confirmed as main villain recently
- Fans have speculated she could be Alicia Masters

The star names just keep on coming for the cast of the upcoming Fantastic Four film, with Natasha Lyonne the latest name added to the increasingly stellar roster.
Lyonne joins Pedro Pascal, who will take on the role of Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who will be Ben Grimm/The Thing.
While Natasha Lyonne’s role is a mystery, Julia Garner reportedly joins the Fantastic Four cast as Silver Surfer.
In addition, last week Ralph Ineson was confirmed as Galactus, the main villain of the film – a cosmic entity known as the ‘Devourer of Worlds’.
Lyonne, 45, first came to prominence in the late 1990s, appearing in films such as American Pie (1999), and has latterly had success in series such as Orange Is the New Black on Netflix where she played Nicky Nichols and Charlie Cale on Poker Face on Peacock. She is also a noted writer and producer and was named by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2023.
While Lyonne’s role has not been confirmed, there has been speculation among fans online about which role she could take. Theories include she could be Frankie Raye – Johnny Storm’s girlfriend – who becomes Nova, a herald for Galactus.
Another popular theory is that she could be Alicia Masters – a blind sculptor who becomes a love interest for The Thing. The character is also the stepdaughter of the supervillain Puppet Master, who schemes against the Four. Some have added that John Malkovich – who has also recently been added to the cast, again in an undisclosed role – could be Puppet Master.
Ralph Ineson confirmed as the main villain, Marvel’s Fantastic Four cast continues to shape up, fueling speculation and excitement among fans.
Fantastic Four will be released on July 25, 2025.
