Yup, it’s Snoop Dogg’s turn to carry the torch for pop culture in Paris.
And he’ll be following in the footsteps of Britain’s Dizzee Rascal and Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am when they did similar stunts in the build-up to London 2012.
“U gots to do it…Will u be watchin?? He asked his followers on Instagram.
This time around the wits on social are saying that Snoop Dogg is carrying the torch in Paris because the Olympic committee need someone with the hottest tracks!
And maybe they’re right – Snoop’s probably the only athlete who can make the flame look like it’s in a music video.
But what did Snoop Dogg tell reporters about his torch-bearing antics? “Eiffel, but I got back up!”
Okay, maybe he didn’t say that – not yet anyway. This one’s on us Snoop Dogg if you’re up for hearing crowds of people groan aloud after lighting up the city of lights.
