- Trailer for Venom: The Last Dance showed the symbiote bond with a horse
- Now Venom Horse is coming to the comics in stories in the upcoming Venom War series
- Venom Horse will also appear on variant covers in the five-issue Venom War series

After its appearance in the trailer for the forthcoming Venom: The Last Dance film, Marvel has confirmed that Venom Horse will make its comic debut this summer too.
Horsing around
The trailer for the much-anticipated third instalment of the Venom franchise showed Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) ask Venom if he could bond with a horse – with spectacular results as the two escape their pursuers.
But now, ahead of the film’s release later this year, the Venom Horse will also appear in the comic in the upcoming five-issue Venom War series.
In each issue, there will be a one-page story featuring Venom Horse and will explore the character’s origins as it escapes from captivity.
The stories will be written by Al Ewing – who is also penning the Venom War story – and drawn by Carlos Nieto, who is known for his work on Ghost Rider, among others.
Variant covers available
Each of the five issues of Venom War will also have a variant cover featuring the new equine hero on it.
Venom War will begin with Eddie and Dylan Brock seeing terrifying visions of each other’s future as Venom, which leads to a showdown to see who will be the one true Venom. The resulting war brings in past and present symbiotes who will have to declare if they are on ‘team Eddie’ or ‘team Dylan’. Will Venom Horse choose a side too?
The first issue of Venom War hits newsstands on August 7.
Venom: The Last Dance will be in theaters on October 25.
