- Actress has said that there is a role she would love to play if it ever came up
- Taylor-Joy also revealed that she would like to take on the challenge of a musical in the future
- She talked of her dance training as a child and how it has influenced her career

Actress Anya Taylor-Joy is getting used to taking on leading roles in films – but she has one dream role and she just won’t let it go.
Dream role
Yes, Taylor-Joy has said that if Disney ever make a live-action version of their hugely successful animated franchise Frozen, she would like to take on the role of Elsa.
Speaking to Vogue Hong Kong, Taylor-Joy said that it would be “very fun” to shoot ice out of your hands – referring to Elsa’s special power. She added that, as her siblings now have children, “I would love for them to be able to say ‘my auntie is Elsa.’ That would be pretty sick.”
But the 28-year-old actress, who starred earlier this year in Dune: Part Two and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, went on to reveal another desire – to star in a musical. “The idea of having to be able to sing, dance and act at the same time would just really thrill me,” she said.
Training help
Taylor-Joy has experience of dance, having trained in ballet for more than 10 years when she was a child. She added that the training helps her in her life and career. For instance, there is the discipline that it instilled in her, as well as helping with stunt choreography, which she says is like a dance in some ways as you have to be in harmony with everyone else to keep safe.
Earlier this year, Taylor-Joy revealed that she had married Malcolm McRae in secret. Also, at the ceremony, she had anatomically correct heart cakes.
