  • Christmas In The Spotlight is set to be part of Lifetime’s 2024 festive line up
  • The film will star Jessica Lord and Laith Wallschleger
  • The plot will revolve around a “popular musician and celebrity” who meets a well known football player

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance is about to be taken to the next level as the A-List couple are set to have a Lifetime Christmas movie released this festive season that draws inspiration from their relationship.

Christmas In The Spotlight will feature as part of the TV network’s It’s A Wonderful Lifetime holiday line up and will star Jessica Lord and Laith Wallschleger.

According to People, who broke the story, Lord will play a “popular musician and celebrity” who meets Wallschleger’s football playing Drew backstage at a concert before the football star publicly declares that he has a crush.

Naturally, drawing less than subtle parallels to Swift’s relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs star’s relationship, the pair start dating andā€œfeelings grow stronger … but can it last in the limelight, especially when they both have such hectic schedules?ā€

ā€œWith people questioning if their feelings for each other are real or just for show, the pressure mounts from the press, paparazzi, their fans and even their family,ā€ reads the logline.

“The pair has until the end of the holiday season to decide if they want to stay together, or let it go down in flames.ā€

Yep, sign me up for at least a dozen viewings of that over Christmas.

Meanwhile, in the real world, Swift attended Kelce’s NFL season opener last night (Thursday September 5) as the back-to-back Super Bowl winning Chiefs overcame the Baltimore Ravens 27-20, avoiding a last second game losing touchdown via video replay, to begin their title defence with a victory.
