- Trump to appear on Joe Rogan’s podcast
- Episode to record Friday 25 October
- Kamala Harris also contacted about appearing

Former President Donald Trump is set to appear on Joe Rogan’s podcast The Joe Rogan Experience later this week, according to reports from Fox News.
Trump is expected to record the episode on Friday 25 October just a few days before Election Day in the United States which is set to take place on Tuesday 5 November.
The news was first reported by Politico before being confirmed by Fox News by a Trump campaign official.
Since starting in late 2009, The Joe Rogan Experience – hosted by the titular comedian and actor – has since become one of the most popular podcasts around. In addition to attracting the biggest podcast audience in America, the show has around 17.5 million subscribers on YouTube and more than 14 million followers on Spotify.
No doubt hoping to appeal directly to younger male listeners, Rogan’s podcast has often attracted a range of guests – from comedians, actors and directors, to activists, conspiracy theorists and whistleblowers.
Rogan has long discussed the idea of featuring Trump as a guest and according to reports, the pod-host has also been in talks with team Harris to record a conversation with the Democratic nominee too.
However, at the time of writing, that doesn’t appear to have been confirmed.
“Unlikely political influencer”

This isn’t the first time The Joe Rogan Experience has been linked to presidential campaigns.
The New York Times called the comedian’s show an “unlikely political influencer” in the 2020 presidential election after hosting conversations with would-be candidates, including Senator Bernie Sanders.
The podcast has become known as an arena with no overt political leaning and a space to discuss a variety of topics in a relaxed environment. That said, the show has had brushes with negative press and controversy.
In early 2021, Rogan’s comments about the COVID-19 vaccine made headlines after he suggested young people had no need to take it. The host was later vocal about his use of Ivermectin, a drug designed for livestock that was believed to have been able to combat Coronavirus.
Subsequent reports suggested that this wasn’t the case.
Obama raps Eminem lyrics

Meanwhile, the Harris campaign recently saw former President Barack Obama rap lyrics from Eminem‘s 2002 hit single Lose Yourself whilst on stage at a rally in Detroit.
“I gotta say, I have done a lot of rallies, so I don’t usually get nervous, but I was feeling some kind of way following Eminem,” said Obama. Moments later, he began dishing out lines from the rapper’s hit song.
“I notice my palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy, vomit on my sweater already, mom’s spaghetti, I’m nervous but on the surface, I look calm and ready to drop bombs but I keep on forgetting.
“I love me some Eminem.” he added.
