It’s the moment fans had put money on – Amelia Dimoldenberg and Andrew Garfield finally getting together!
Well… not quite.
While the pair did go on a date together, the outing was, sadly, just for Dimoldenberg’s popular YouTube series, Chicken Shop Date.
But that didn’t make the encounter any less flirty.
After several red carpet moments that left fans begging the couple to take their obvious chemistry further, Garfield, 41, finally sat down for chicken nuggets and fries with the presenter, 30.
Beginning with Dimoldenberg jokingly warning Garfield, “Don’t, like, bring out a ring or get down on one knee, I’m not in the mood – today.”
The flowing conversation had viewers swooning over the pair – with Garfield outrightly asking Dimoldenberg if she thinks they would have crossed paths and dated eventually outside of their award show run-ins.
Because it’s clear his mind was made up.
“I actually believe, maybe, we could’ve, without all of this,” Garfield told her.

Of course, fans immediately went wild for the date – with the video racking up over a quarter of a million views within the hour it was posted on October 18.
With 9.1k likes within that time, the top YouTube comment read, “My head: they’re performers. My heart: they’re soulmates.”
Another said, “So we definitely just watched them on a real date trying to act like it’s a fake date,” while someone else added, “It’s actually the first time in this show where she’s the one being ASKED the questions you can tell that she couldn’t even put the rest of her previous awkward persona on, absolutely in love with this.”
The conversation continued on Twitter/X.
