They were the power couple who reignited their fairytale romance three years ago.
So fans were devastated when it was revealed that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were splitting again.
The singer, 55, filed for divorce from the Batman actor, 52, on the couple’s second wedding anniversary last month.
But now the pair – who were first engaged in 2004 after a two-year relationship, before getting back together again in 2021 and marrying a year later – appear to be getting things back on track… as they were spotted on a date.
According to Page Six, Affleck couldn’t keep his hands off his ex-wife, as they attended brunch together at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills last Saturday (September 14).
While a source told the outlet that Affleck’s plan was to show the public that the pair could still be friends, they continued, “Once they were together, he could not keep his hands off. They have always had a lot of sexual chemistry. That was not planned. They are still attracted to one another.”
“It was Ben’s idea to meet there,” the insider said. “He wanted to show that they are friendly exes. He wanted those photos. You go there when you want to be seen. Paparazzi hang out there.”

Of course, fans went wild for the photos – and some hoped that they spelled the return of Affleck and Lopez’s romance.
‘The divorce is still going ahead’
However, sources told People that the pictures don’t necessarily mean that the couple are ‘back on’.
“[Lopez is] trying to be friendly with Ben. They are still moving forward with the divorce though,” they revealed.
“A divorce is never easy, but Jennifer doesn’t want to be selfish about it. The kids always got along and have fun together. It makes her happy seeing the kids happy together. Happy kids are her priority.”
Two of Affleck’s children, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12 – who he shares with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner – and Lopez’s 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, 16, are still close and sat at a different table during the family brunch outing.
