- Developers are addressing concerns promptly and efficiently, including bugs, and player complaints.

Call of Duty: Warzone has decided to shrink the player count on its newly launched Area 99 map, only a week after it was released. This map launched as a part of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Season 1, but somehow couldn’t meet the developers’ expectations in terms of gameplay.
Shrinking the Map for Better Gameplay
Upon reviewing the player’s data, they found that matches weren’t going as planned, which made them reduce the number of players across various modes. The new player limits include Quads— 44 players to 40, Trios— 45 players to 42, Duos— 44 players to 40, and Solos— 45 players to 40.
These alterations aim to make new Area 99 a more balanced playground for thrilling battles. Fans have also complained about the mess due to higher numbers in one mode, leaving no place to fight effectively. As per Dexerto, Redditor ZaphBeebs said,
“There’s still way, way too many people. You can barely breathe on the map and there’s always another person after you,”
Another user mentioned,
“Too much visual noise as well as hard to make out players when most skins blend in with the map,”.
New Fixes and Updates to Enhance Player Experience
However, it is good to see that developers are closely watching each aspect of this new installment and taking steps promptly to resolve any issue appearing since the release.
Recently players also faced the data reset bug and Treyarch acknowledged it right on the spot and assured fans that the investigation is ongoing. While players wait for this issue to be resolved, they have something to look forward to.
A new Area 99 with bearable user counts, and Citadelle Des Morts Zombies map, launching on December 5. All these updates are enough to keep the warriors’ spirits high.
