The middle portion of Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger’s name pays tribute to John Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger, the 35th President of the United States and Schwarzenegger’s great uncle.
“Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris.”
Baby number three
Pratt already shares two children with author and animal rights activist Schwarzenegger. These include 4-year-old Lyla Maria and 2-year-old Eloise Christina.
He’s also father to 12-year-old Jack, a son shared with his ex-partner Anna Farris.
According to reports, the couple were introduced in 2018 by Schwarzenegger’s mother, Maria Shriver. Katherine’s father is actor and former Californian Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The pair were engaged in 2019 with Pratt revealing the news in an Instagram post that read “so happy you said yes!”
“I’m thrilled to be marrying you,” he added. “Here we go!” The pair were married later that same year.
“You don’t have to do it all”
Schwarzenegger has spoken publicly about her experiences of motherhood.
In 2023, she appeared on a panel for Women’s History Month. Here, she shared some candid thoughts about the importance of asking for help.
“I think being able to be open about the fact that you don’t have to do it all, you can lean on people, you can enlist help from others and being okay with that.
“That, I feel, is such a big struggle for women in general, but I think especially if you’re balancing multiple roles, is saying, ‘I need help today,’ and that’s okay.”

In addition to headlining the Jurassic World trilogy and 2023 animation The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Pratt will next be seen in The Electric State.
Co-starring opposite Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, the film is directed by Avengers: End Game filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo and will hit Netflix in 2025.
