Golf is a game of skill and accuracy – and if this video is anything to go by, this young lad has it in spades.
In the clip, the youngster manages to pull off an unlikely chip shot that would impress even the modern greats of the game like Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and recent US Open Championship winner Bryson DeChambeau. He manages to not only chip it over his dad’s head – when he is right in front of him – but land it right in front of him so he can drive it into the distance.
What makes it even more impressive is the lad is playing the shot on an uphill lie, which as any golf expert knows adds to the difficulty of it. No wonder then that both dad and son run towards the camera in celebration after they complete the shot.
With skills like that, the lad could go far in the future – who knows, even to the US Open?
