The actress rose to fame playing Marianne Sheridan in the 2020 drama show Normal People. The role put Jones on the map and led to her having blockbuster roles in films like Twisters. She also starred in the weird and wonderful thriller Fresh, but that is to terrify you for another day.

One of the biggest boyfriends of the internet is Irish actor Paul Mescal, who starred alongside Jones in Normal People. Mescal has also gone on to a promising acting career, recently starring in Gladiator II. He is also known for his love life. The actor dated singer Phoebe Bridgers for around two years. Currently, he is dating another singer, Gracie Abrams.
In an interview with Elle, Jones gushed over her co-stars. Particularly, she spoke about Mescal, Glenn Powell, and Harris Dickinson. “I have worked with basically all of the internet’s boyfriends, and I’m lucky that every actor I’ve worked with has been incredibly supportive of me being the lead. Glen, Sebastian, Paul, all of them,” Jones said.
Powell starred alongside Jones and was her love interest in Twisters, and also the main character. Meanwhile, one of the internet’s more recent boyfriends, Harris Dickinson, most recently starred in the erotic thriller Babygirl, alongside Nicole Kidman. Dickinson worked with Jones in 2022 on Where the Crawdads Sing.
On the internet’s boyfriends, Jones said they are “so successful” and “so loved” because they give their all to the story. She added that Powell was interested in her character Kate’s journey in Twisters. The 26-year-old said the same about Sebastian Stan being invested in her character Noa’s storyline in Fresh.

The Normal People star has previously gushed on her friendship with Mescal, which has raised eyebrows on the internet. If you’ve seen that Met Gala meme with Jones smiling in a photo and Mescal looking at her while posing with his ex-girlfriend Bridgers, then you’ll know what’s up!
“Paul’s like playing tennis with your best friend,” she said about the actor. “I’m nervous for the point that it comes to working with someone who might not be so chill with it! Because there’s so much ego that can exist in this industry.”
Jones also identified two of the internet’s boyfriends she hasn’t worked with yet, which are Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler. Only time will tell if she gets that opportunity.
