- Liam Payne tragically died on October 16, aged just 31
- Family and friends attended the singer’s funeral on November 20
- The church was filled with friends, including his One Direction bandmates, and former partner, Cheryl Tweedy

Just over a month after he tragically passed away, mourners attended Liam Payne’s funeral on November 20.
The former One DIrection star died aged 31, after falling from the balcony of a third floor hotel room in the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires.
The funeral for Payne was held in the village of Amersham, Buckinghamshire, with his family – including parents Karen and Geoff – present, as well as his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy.
Now friends of Payne say that his loved ones carefully curated the “perfect” send off for Payne.
“His family have gone to great lengths to put together the perfect service and give him the send off he deserves,” said one.
“Liam may have been a global superstar but to Geoff and Karen he will always be their little boy. It is going to be an incredibly difficult day.”
Inside the service, those who knew Payne best gave readings.
“The service was beautiful but for everyone inside the church, the loss of Liam is still unfathomable,” revealed a friend. “A choir performed during the service and Liam’s personality shone through in all of the details.
“The readings given during the service were incredibly personal and painted a picture of what Liam was really like.
“He was kind, generous and put everyone else first. The service was centred on this.
“Liam as a son, a brother and a father. The man that he was behind closed doors. The man who went out of his way to help others. The fact he is no longer with us is still incomprehensible.”
Friends pay their respects to Payne

As fans lined the street to pay tribute to Payne, his celebrity friends were also in attendance.
His former bandmates Harry Styles, 30, Niall Horan, 31, Zayn Malik, 31, and Louis Tomlinson, 32, were seen walking into the church for what is their first public meeting as a group since their last concert in 2015.
Payne’s former partner Cheryl Tweedy was there to pay her respects, alongside their seven-year-old son, Bear.
Her Girls Aloud bandmates Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh showed up to support their friend; while Simon Cowell, the man responsible for making One Direction famous via The X Factor, was seen sharing an embrace with Payne’s parents.
Former Late Late Show host James Cordon, footballer Robbie Keane – who Payne knew through his Soccer Aid charity work – Radio 2 Breakfast DJ Scott Mills, and pop star couple Marvin and Rochelle Humes also turned up to mourn the singer.
Others could not be there, but offered their condolances in other ways. Robbie Williams and former X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger are understood to have been in contact with his family and sent flowers.
