Sir Elton John is a living legend. His showbiz career has spanned more than five decades and countless hits.
It makes perfect sense for the Your Song hitmaker to be the subject of a career-spanning documentary. Luckily, they answered the call with Elton John: Never Too Late.
The film, directed by RJ Cutler and his husband David Furnish, sees John gear up to take the stage for the final time in North America before his 2022 show at Dodger Stadium.
Along with the ending of an era for a musical icon, the Goodbye Yellow Brick Road icon has also managed to snag Academy Award whispers.

“Packed with all his greatest hits, as well as lesser-known gems from the 70s and unseen footage from Elton’s personal archives, this intimate and emotionally charged story gives a front-row seat to music history.”

Earlier in the year, John took to social media to share his excitement about the project when the artwork dropped.
“It’s here! Very excited to share the first look at the key art for Elton John: Never Too Late! This documentary is such a special journey through the memories, music, and moments that have shaped my life,” he wrote.
During the press tour, he admitted it was “never too late to change your life”.
“To make decisions that will make your life better,” he told Stephen Colbert on The Late Show.
Who makes an appearance in the documentary?
Along with all the anecdotes from John, it boasts appearances from music legends, past and present. These include Bernie Taupin, John Lennon and Dua Lipa.
