IShowSpeed has revealed how banged up he was after being turned into a human Crash Test Dummy by Bron Breakker at the WWE Royal Rumble, earlier this month.

In a clip that rapidly went viral, clocking over 400m views across social media and becoming WWE’s biggest Royal Rumble video of all time, Speed celebrated helping the WWE Intercontinental Champion eliminate an opponent from the over-the-top-rope battle royal, only to be promptly stoppped in his tracks by Breakker ploughing clean through him like a freight train hitting a a pile of LEGO bricks at top speed.

While plenty of non-wrestling fans are always quick to dismiss the severity of bumps taken in and around the ring by trained professionals, Speed’s demolition was genuinely scary as he bore the brunt of Breakker’s 250 pound impact flying at him at somewhere in the region of 23mph.

The jolting of Speed’s neck and head were enough to draw a collective gasp of breath around the world, as the various angles of the incident took on a life of their own across social media. On Speed’s own Instagram, over 5m likes have been left on his posting of his demise at the hands (or shoulders) of the two-time IC Champion

“I could not move, bro”

And while Breakker would welcome the Youtuber back to the squared circle with open arms for a rematch, Speed isn’t so sure, given the state he was in the day after.

Speaking during a recent stream in the aftermath of the Royal Rumble, Speed said, “The day after Bron Breakker speared me, I had one of the worst headaches, I couldn’t move. I could not move, bro. I thought I was genuinely about to die. That was maybe one of the craziest, worst experiences ever. I’m being so serious right now.”

Speed has claimed he has no interest in returning to the ring, although in reality, with WrestleMania on the horizon and a monstrous viral hit secured at the Royal Rumble, the chances are he’s looking to produce a sequel in Las Vegas, in April.
