The actress played the iconic heiress Tanya McQuoid in the HBO series. Coolidge even snagged an Emmy from the part.
However, her inability to reappear stems from the fact that she died at the end of the second series. She died after having a face-off with an array of gays on a boat in Siciliy.

“I’ve really missed myself,” Coolidge said while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
She reflected that she would be more at peace with the decision while praising the show’s creator, Mike White.
“I thought I’d be cool with it, but, yeah, I’m jealous. But Mike White is a genius and it’s going really well.”

What else did Jennifer Coolidge say?
The American Pie star admitted that she thought there might be a small chance for her to return but watching the show has quashed this dream.
“I thought there was a little window for me to come back because people saw me floating in the water and stuff, and I did look very dead and everything, Coolidge told Jimmy Kimmel.

She continued “But then the girls were talking in this latest episode about [how] all they saw was my floating leg. And then all of a sudden I’m like, ‘Oh yeah, I guess I wouldn’t be able to swim away with only one leg.’ That really seals the deal if only one leg was left.”

Will we get resolution what happened to Tanya?
Well, it’s too early to tell! Justice could be coming for poor Tanya. Fans are hoping that we will get some resolution for her death. Her husband Greg Greg (Jon Gries) is back in the frame this season.

After relocating to this season’s destination of Thailand, he is going under the nom de plum of Gary and a frequent visitor to the hotel with his much-younger girlfriend Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon).
Already hotel spa manager Belinda (Natasha Rothwell) has approached Greg/Gary, asking if they’ve met before. Many will remember that Tanya was for investing her millions into Belinda’s own wellness centre. This was until Greg came along and swept her off her feet in the first season.
