Two of the biggest music artists in the world right now, Kendrick Lamar and SZA, have announced they are heading off on tour together next year.

Grand National Tour

Titled The Grand National Tour, Lamar and SZA, the Grammy-winning artists will take in 19 stadiums across North America in their two-month tour.

The tour will start on April 19, 2025, at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. From there, the duo will go to some iconic stadiums including the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Oracle Park in San Fransisco and the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford. It will end at the Northwest Stadium in Washington D.C. on June 18.

Lamar surprise dropped a new album, GNX, on November 22. On GNX, Lamar teams up with SZA for ‘Luther’ – which should be a favourite on the tour.

Busy 2025

So it seems that 2025 will be a busy year for Lamar – earlier this year he was announced as next year’s Super Bowl halftime show headliner too. Super Bowl LIX will take place in New Orleans in February. Lamar also recently called out Lil Wayne on this – after it had been thought that the latter, a native of New Orleans, would get that gig. However, lil Wayne has since clapped back on that.

That said, his 2024 has been busy too, with the new album and his ongoing beef with Drake to stoke every once in a while. His track ‘Not Like Us’ was also named Apple Music’s Top Song of 2024 recently.

SZA too will have a busy 2025, as she will make her acting debut in the film One of Them Days, which is released next year.

Tickets for the tour go on general sale on Friday, December 6 and 10am local time. But fans are going to have to be quick as the tour is expected to sell out ultra quickly.
