She’s the pop star with a string of famous exes.

So fans were surprised in August when it emerged how Lana Del Rey was dating… an alligator tour guide.

The Video Games singer, 39, was spotted backstage at Leeds and Reading festivals in the UK – where she was a headliner – holding hands with a mystery man.

They were also pictured having food in a London pub, and at the department store Harrods, which led the press to believe they were dating.

He was later ‘uncovered’ to be 61-year-old Jeremy Dufrene, who she first met back in 2019 after taking one of his swamp tours in Louisiana.

However, as fans went wild for the random relationship, Del Rey has now weighed in on the situation – and sadly confirmed that the two are not dating.

An Instagram post about the rumored relationship read, “Lana’s new beau, is an alligator tour guide… who also recently separated from his wife. Jeremy’s daughter took to Twitter/X to share that she found out about her dad’s new romance with the stunning singer through social media and her thoughts on everything unfolding.”

But Del Rey simply commented underneath, “No”.

She also weighed in the convincing fan who managed to hoodwink the Internet that Dufrene is her father, “Also, that’s not his daughter on Twitter.”

Del Rey’s sneaky lyric change spotted by fans

However, some eagle eyed – or, rather eared – fans aren’t convinced by Del Rey’s denial.

During a recent concert, the singer performed a rendition of her track Chemtrails Over the Country Club – and made a very interesting change to the lyrics.

Originally written as, ‘You’re born in December and I’m born in June’, Del Rey instead sang, ‘You’re born in March and I’m born in June.’

Only a minor swap – but perhaps one that is significant, as Dufrene’s Instagram reveals that his birthday is in March.

And arlier this year, Del Rey reconnected with Dufrene, and shared a photo of her visiting his tour again with her loved ones.

Although Dufrene was not seen in the May 16 post, she tagged him in her caption and referred to him as ‘my guy.’

Seems very suspicious to us…
