- You can meditate with Daredevil for… ten hours, if you so wish
- It’s not the first time they’ve released such a long video
- A month ago, they released a similar video with Wolverine

Marvel’s developed a rather left-field marketing strategy – in a world of short-form content, they’re going the opposite way with hours-long videos.
The latest one arrived earlier this week and invites fans to meditate with Daredevil for as long as ten hours.

In the video, we see Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil kneeling on a rooftop in the rain. It includes sounds of rain and thunder, as well as general background noise typical of a city. Periodically, Daredevil looks towards the camera and then returns to looking away from it. Of course, we also get to see some water towers, as is common for nighttime scenes involving the character.
The caption to the video reads “Take a break from fighting crime and enhance, reflect, and refocus yourself with Daredevil, AKA Matt Murdock. Watch Daredevil: Born Again on @disneyplus.”
What other long videos has Marvel created?
A month ago, Marvel posted an 8.5 hour-long video of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in his yellow-and-blue Deadpool & Wolverine outfit. As you might expect, he doesn’t do much besides breathing, occasionally switching positions an homage to the iconic cover of 1982’s Wolverine #1. He can be seen flashing his claws with one hand and beckoning the viewer closer with the other.

The caption of the video reads, “April is National Stress Awareness Month, so breathe deep and feel your adamantium bones melt away. Watch Deadpool & Wolverine on @disneyplus.”
Has it only been meditation videos?
No – but the meditation videos have generally been the longest ones. The studio’s major foray into long videos came in the form of the Avengers: Doomsday cast reveal.
This major announcement ended up lasting five hours, with the cast reveal coming in the form of actors’ chairs.
What has Daredevil been up to lately?
Daredevil recently returned to the small screen in Daredevil: Born Again. Marvel’s return to TV received very positive reactions, with some critics even saying that the series starts with some of the best premiere episodes in the MCU’s TV history.
