- Selena Gomez has joined other stars in the 2025 Oscar presenters line-up
- New stars were announced as presenters on 19 February

On 19 February more stars and A-listers joined the long list of presenters at the 2025 Oscars. The Oscars is one of the biggest nights in film history where awards are given out for the biggest and best in film and television. The show will be happening on 2 March at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. Currently leading the nominations is Emilia Pérez with 13 nominations, followed by The Brutalist and Wicked with 10.
As a star-studded ceremony, we’d expect a big number of huge presenters, but these latest names added to the list are Hollywood Royalty. Deadline announced Emilia Pérez star Selena Gomez would present an award, also presenting is talk show host and media personality Oprah Winfrey among other presenters. Previously announced to present awards were Halle Berry, Penélope Cruz among other stars and Oscar winners.

Hosting the 2025 Oscars is comedian Conan O’Brien, it will be his first time hosting. Last year’s show was hosted by talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. With anticipation ramping up for the 2025 Oscars, we’ll break down all the new people who were announced as presenters at the 2025 award show.
Who is presenting at the 2025 Oscars?
Top of the list is Selena Gomez, who played Jessi Del Monte in the Oscar-nominated Emilia Pérez. Monte is the wife of Juan Del Monte, a powerful Mexican drug cartel leader. Emilia Pérez is nominated for multiple awards at the 2025 Oscars including Best Picture.
Also presenting is Oprah Winfrey. Winfrey has never won an Oscar, but she was nominated in 1986 for Best Supporting Actress in The Color Purple. In 2011, she recieved a Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for her charity work. This is an honorary Oscar award.
Ben Stiller, Sterling K. Brown, Willem Dafoe, Ana de Armas, Lily-Rose Depp, Goldie Hawn, Connie Nielsen and Joe Alwyn have also been added to the list.
Have any of the presenters won Oscars?
Stiller has never recieved or been nominated, but has presented multiple times. As for Brown, he was nominated in 2023 for Best Supporting Actor for his role in American Fiction. Defoe has recieved four Oscars nominations in his career but has never won. De Armas was nominated in 2023 for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for Blonde, the Marliyn Monroe biopic.
Depp made waves playing Ellen in the 2024 horror film Nosferatu, although she wasn’t nominated at the 2025 Oscars for it. Hollywood veteran Hawn is best known for Death Becomes Her. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Cactus Flower which she won. She was nominated again in 1981 for Best Actress for Private Benjamin but did not win that year.
Moving on, another Hollywood veteran is Nielsen, who is best known for starring in Gladiator and reprising her role in the second film. She has never been nominated for an Oscar.
Although he is better known as Taylor Swift’s ex boyfriend, Alwyn is an actor. Alwyn starred in the Oscar-nominated The Brutalist, but he wasn’t and has never been nominated.
Is anyone else presenting?
