- Remedy will share new details about FBC: Firebreak soon
- The multiplayer shooter is set in the Alan Wake & Control universe
- PlayStation Plus Extra & Xbox Game Pass users can play for free

The Remedy Entertainment has announced to share more about the upcoming FCB: Firebreak on 20 March 2025.
FBC: Firebreak – A Thrilling Multiplayer Experience
The game was first introduced in October 2024 during the Xbox Partner Preview and since then fans of Alan Wake and Control have been excitedly waiting for updates, now after some months they will finally get to learn more about this title.
This much-anticipated multiplayer shooter has been in the works for a while, but nothing much has been shared and fans had only bits of information. This new shooter is set in the same world as two of the most renowned games, Alan Wake and Control, which were developed by the same company.
It will offer players an action-packed gameplay in an eerie environment, will feature the monster creatures and the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC), a government agency.
Those who have played control are not unknown to FBC, and in a new game they will be tasked with dealing with supernatural threats. However, what makes FBC: Firebreak stands apart from other Remedy’s past titles is its multiplayer focus.
Players won’t have to jump into the depths of horror alone, as a single player; rather, there will be a trio that will stand against all challenges and enemies, and players will be able to join two others to team up.
What to Expect from the March 20 Update
Now players are quite curious to know that how and to what extent developers are going to connect FBC: Firebreak with the thrilling universe of Control. Right now there are no details but the March’s update might answer this question as well.
The latest update on FBC: Firebreak will be part of the Future Games Show on March 20, 2025, at 1 PM PDT. The show will be livestreamed on YouTube, yet it is not revealed what will be shown, but players are already coming up with exciting assumptions.
Although major details are still under wraps, yet one of the most stirring announcement is that players with subscriptions including PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers and Xbox Game Pass users on console and PC can play the game for free at launch.
The official release date is also not confirmed but it is expected to launch this year.
