The two A-listers are friends again, according to sources. Yes, Blake Lively, 37, and Taylor Swift, 35, are close again after not being seen together since October 2024.
Since December 2024, the actress has been in a nasty legal battle with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni.
Lively sued Baldoni over claims of sexual harassment and attempting a smear campaign against her. Baldoni, 41, countersued Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, 48, for $400 million. He sued over claims of civil extortion, defamation, and invasion of privacy.

Since Swift’s song My Tears Ricochet plays in the movie, she became tied to it creatively. Additionally, her close friendship with Lively and Swift’s name allegedly being dropped in the lawsuit could result in her being subpoenaed to testify in the March 2026 trial.
Allegedly, Swift’s name was mentioned by Baldoni in a text thread between him and the Gossip Girl Star.
Later, her name was dropped again in documents filed by Baldoni’s team, implying Lively had threatened to “change her mind” about reaching out to Swift to use her song.
Further claims allege that Swift and Reynolds may’ve pressured Baldoni to accept Lively’s rewrites of the film, which is why parts could’ve been changed.

According to an exclusive source who spoke to People, yes, they have. The source said Swift was “hurt” over being brought into the legal drama.
“Blake knew she and Taylor would come back from this at some point and that their friendship wasn’t done for good,” the source told the tabloid.
The source continued, “Taylor was really hurt by this situation, so she’s relieved they were able to recover from this and put it all behind them because it wasn’t something she took lightly”.
If anyone knows Swift, they know her PR person, Tree Paine, is on the ball with bad press!
Although no specific details are available about how the ladies repaired their friendship, time will tell if it will last.
