Ah, the Biebers. Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber are one of the most talked about young couples in Hollywood. Before she was Hailey Bieber, she was Hailey Baldwin, she married the Canadian singer in 2018. The couple has faced scrutiny from the public and the media. Recently a seven-part series went viral on TikTok.
The series alleges that the Rhode founder stalked and followed her husband around to gain his attention in the 2010s. For much of that decade, Bieber was in an on-and-off again relationship with singer Selena Gomez. Their relationship ended for good in March 2018.
Now Gomez is engaged to music producer Benny Blanco and is gearing up to release a collaborative album with him, I Said I Love You First. After the release of the seven-part series, people trolled Bieber on Instagram over her marriage, but the 28-year-old has remained silent.
She also got into some hot water over allegedly liking a shady TikTok about a photo shoot that Gomez and Blanco did, but it is just hearsay.

Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber’s relationship
The relationship began when she was a superfan of the singer. Bieber is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, so she had lots of access to events and premieres. She first met him in 2009 and continued to meet him a few other times in 2011 but 2015 is where their romantic relationship began officially.
2014 – The Bieber beginnings?
In November 2014, the Biebers and model Kendall Jenner were spotted at Bieber’s Hillsong Church. In December 2014 after Bieber denied she and the Canadian singer were involved, he backed her up with a photo of the two on Instagram.
The Sorry singer wrote: “People are crazy. I’m super single and this is my good friend u would know otherwise.”

2015 – The beginning of the messy Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber romance
In December, Bieber joined his family on vacation and posted a video of him and the model messing around. Romance rumors surrounded the two as this was during one of Gomez and Bieber’s off periods. We did say it was messy.
2016 – Romance confirmed and off again
In January 2016, the romance rumors were confirmed after the couple were spotted together. Bieber did something very 2016 and posted a photo of the two ringing in the New Year in a kissing picture. Like we said, very 2016.
During the month of love, the two gave interviews emphasizing their casual relationship. By March 2016, the relationship ended. Rumors suggested it was because of Bieber’s close relationship with rapper Drake, but there wasn’t much truth to these rumors.
Between August to December, Bieber dated Lionel Richie’s daughter Sophia Richie. Following that, he had an infamous reunion with Gomez from November 2017 to March 2018. Meanwhile, Bieber was linked to a few famous men during this time, including Drake in May 2016, and Shawn Mendes from late 2017 to May or June 2018. To be clear, these were only rumored relationships, although Mendes did say he briefly dated Bieber.
At the same time, Bieber was galivanting around LA with his ex Gomez.

2018 – Rekindling romance and marriage
2018 was a big year for the Biebers. Fans were shocked when the two reunited, but it was the beginning of the end for them, and not in a bad way. In May 2018, Bieber surprisingly said in an interview she and the singer were in touch again. She said, “We’ve moved past that.”
However, in June 2018, the romance rumors were confirmed. Reports say the two were spotted kissing and out together, confirming they were seemingly an item again. Oh, young love! The next month, engagement rumors surrounded the couple, which they both confirmed.
Confirmed by Bieber who posted photos of his fiancée, he wrote: “Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you. So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you.”
A newly engaged Bieber gushed over her husband-to-be and called him “an incredible person.”

Rumors spread in September 2018 that the two were married after they were spotted near New York City’s Marriage Bureau. Bieber denied this on her X (Twitter at the time) account, but her husband confirmed they were married in November in an Instagram photo.
The rest of 2018 continued with the loved-up Biebers being spotted out kissing in London and other places as they were papped.
2019 – Official marriage of Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber
News broke of a wedding the following summer in August 2019. Reports claimed a wedding would happen in North Carolina at the end of the following month. On 1 October, Bieber confirmed he had married the model and influencer with a post of the two in formal attire that read, “Looking forward to forever with you @haileybieber”.
Bieber also shared photos of her stunning wedding dress, but the happiness was short-lived. Gomez released her song Lose You To Love Me on 23 October. The damning track’s lyrics, “replaced us in two months like it was easy” saw the couple in drama with fans. On Her Instagram Stories, Bieber posted a screenshot of the song I’ll Kill You by Summer Walker. The song is about a woman being territorial over her man, which raised eyebrows with social media users.
While Bieber denied the post was pointed, Gomez urged her fans on Instagram Live to “Be kind” to everyone.
2020 – song dedication and more love
In January 2020, the Biebers were pictured together more than ever. Bieber also released a suggestive (and one of his worst) songs titled Yummy, which was about his…private life with his wife. We like to pretend this one never happened because it was a disaster.
In the same month Covid hit, Bieber spoke about delaying their marriage for a year and reflected on the process. Amid the Black Lives Matter Movement in the fall of 2020, the model spoke about how she would raise her children.
2021 – red carpet ready and more drama
In March 2021, the two got matching tattoos to celebrate Bieber’s single Peaches. In September 2021, the two attended the Met Gala in one of their first big appearances since becoming husband and wife a year prior.
Later in November, the couple appeared on a religious podcast together, where they spoke about Bieber’s bout of depression.
2022 – Hailey and Justin Bieber scrutiny
Two months into 2022, Bieber revealed her stance on kids. She said in an interview that they would “try” in the next few years, but felt kids in 2022 would be “a little bit hectic.” That March, Bieber was hospitalized after having stroke-like symptoms, she said she had an operation that went “smoothly” and recovered.
Getting candid on the relationship
About his wife’s health scare, Bieber said it was “really scary” a few days later at a concert in Denver. Everything was looking up in April, as the Biebers attended the Grammys red carpet together and locked lips as they posed for photos.
Fast forward to the next month, and Bieber revealed he suffered a breakdown early in their marriage. “It’s a journey. I remember when I first got married, I hit a little bit of an emotional breakdown because I thought marriage was going to fix all my problems and it didn’t. It just kind of was a reflection of like, man, you’re a bit of a hypocrite man,” Justin told Ebro Darden with Apple Music.
Scarily he had a health issue the next month and was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which left half his face paralyzed. Bieber saw the silver lining and later reflected on how she and her husband were strong together in dealing with their health issues.
4 years of marriage came in September 2022 and the two celebrated on Instagram with their respective pictures.
On Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast that month, Bieber denied that she had “stolen” her husband from anyone (Gomez probably). At an event in October 2022, the two posed for a picture, and the year rounded out with the beef seemingly put to bed.
2023 – Standing up to Jelena fans
In 2023, there were some highlights in the couple’s relationship. Bieber interviewed his wife for Vogue Australia, and they attended the infamous Vanity Fair Oscars Party together. Bieber posted photos with his wife, and in his birthday month, she posted a sweet tribute to him.
The drama was filling timelines between Gomez and Bieber at this time for Eyebrowgate, so the Biebers wrote their individual statements on the matter asking Jelena fans to stop. Their relationship was smooth sailing for six months and that August rumors swirled that Bieber was splitting from his manager Scooter Braun and reports hinted his wife was part of that.
Again in September, they celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary with the typical lovey-dovey Instagram photos. That fall the couple celebrated Hailey’s birthday, continued to share lovey photos, and rang in the new year with PDA.
2024 – Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber become parents
2024 saw a prosperous year for the Biebers. They rang in the new year together and continued to share Instagram affection with Bieber dedicating a post to her husband’s 30th birthday in March. Rumors had swirled in March and April about the Bieber’s experiencing relationship trouble via blind items, but the rumors were denied.
A pregnancy announcement came in May 2024. On her Instagram, Bieber shared a video from their vowel renewal ceremony. She talks to Bieber and the camera pans down to her visible pregnancy bump.
Two months later in August 2024, the couple announced their baby boy, Jack Blues Bieber had arrived. A month after the arrival of their baby boy, the couple celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary. Cue the cute stories from the couple and sources telling us how well they’re doing since the baby came.
On Halloween, the couple did a Kim Possible family costume, with Bieber dressed as Kim’s friend Ron, Hailey as Kim Possible, and their son as Rufus the mole rat.

2025 – Rumored marriage trouble?
In January, amid reports that the marriage was on the rocks, Bieber denied them by posting an Instagram Story of his wife in lingerie. Oddly, 21 January came and eagle-eyed fans noticed Bieber had unfollowed his wife. The singer posted to his Instagram Stories and said “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife,” but fans weren’t buying it.
After that scandalous moment, the two shared photos on Instagram, letting fans know they were ok.
That V-Day, Bieber shared photobooth photos with his wife captioned, “Happy Valentine’s Day from the Biebers.”
The couple went on a date to the Beverly Hills Hotel for a romantic meal later on. For his 31st birthday, Bieber shared celebration photos of his family, and his wife shared a photo of him holding baby Jack. She wished him a happy birthday on her Instagram Stories.
On 17 March, the Biebers went to Disneyland and concern was caused when fans spotted the Canadian singer, thinking he looked pale. Despite the rumors, the couple are going strong after six years of marriage, so do with that what you will.
