Who is Benny Blanco?
Blanco was born Benjamin Joseph Levin into a Jewish family in Reston, Virginia, in 1988.
His day job is that of an award-winning record producer. His profile got a bump when he worked on Britney Spears’ comeback album Circus in the late ’00s. He was later signed by Dr Luke, the producer that Kesha accused of sexual assault.

Blanco’s co-credits include Rihanna’s Diamonds, Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream and Maroon 5’s Moves Like Jagger. Additionally, he worked on music for Kesha and Gym Class Heroes.
Blanco even worked with Gomez before they started dating. They marked their first collab in 2015 with Same Old Love and other songs on Revival. After working again in 2023, they made their relationship public.

Blanco played a fictionalised version of himself on the sitcom Dave.
