Millie Bobby Brown’s often seen at premieres nowadays alongside her husband Jake Bongiovi. Lately, he’s also had some involvement in some of her creative projects.
Bongiovi is, as his surname suggests, the son of Jon Bon Jovi. His dad made an effort to make sure him and his siblings grew up out of the public eye as much as possible. In fact, according to a 2021 interview, his children “weren’t quite sure what I do.”
However, he’s been keen on making a name for himself in his own right and dropped out of college in 2021 to pursue to an acting career.

Jake Bongiovi’s career
After dropping out of college a year into his studies, Bongiovi made his acting debut in the 2024 film Rockbottom. Funnily enough, he plays the frontman of a ’80s hair metal style band who is struggling to overcome stage fright. He was also cast in a comedy called Sweethearts.
He has also been modelling for some time now and is signed to two different modelling agencies.
How did he and Millie Bobby Brown start dating?
In an interview promoting Netflix’s Enola Holmes 2, Brown found out that one of the most Googled searches under her name is “how did millie bobby brown and jake bongiovi meet.”

“We met on Instagram, and we were friends for a bit, and then, what can I say?” she said.
It’s believed that they began dating in mid-2021, but they didn’t confirm it themselves till the end of the year. They appeared on a red carpet together for the first time in March 2022.
In April 2023, Brown and Bongiovi appeared to announce that they were engaged. She later said he based his proposal to her around their shared love of diving.
“Basically, Jake and I bonded over diving. We love diving, we got our diving licenses together,” Brown said in early 2024. “He gives me a shell and I turn it over and it’s a ring.”
The pair married in 2024 in a “very small family wedding”, which Jon Bon Jovi confirmed in an interview. Brown’s Stranger Things co-star Matthew Modine officiated the ceremony. They had another ceremony in October 2024.
