A woman was hung upside down by her hair in California to break a Guinness World Record. The woman, 39, wanted to break the record for the longest consecutive time hanging by your hair or the longest time being suspended by her hair. Spoiler alert: She broke the niche record. The woman hangs by her hair with a harness clip attached to keep her in the air.

The lady who achieved the cool award was Leila Noone. Noone had a beautiful setting where she broke the record, as she received the title while being suspended from a tree at Redwood National and State Parks in California.

How did she manage to hang by her hair? Well, a woman hangs by her hair only with training, which Noone did, as she is a professional circus performer.

A woman hangs: But how long for?

Noone managed to hang from the tree for 25 minutes and 11.3 seconds. She snatched the record, which was previously held for 23 minutes and 19 seconds. The record was set by Australian Suthakaran Sivagnanathurai in 2011.

A video by Guinness World Records shows Noone with a harness clipped to her hair as she twirls in the air, even taking a second to get into a yoga pose.

Before attempting the difficult task, Noone trained for a long two years.

Aside from being a professional performer, she is also a professional hair hanger. Not sure if that is sarcasm from the Guinness team, but if it is, hilarious.

If you don’t believe it, here is a video of the circus performer hanging by her hair at a show.

Since she is a longtime hair hanger and performer, Noone has appeared on multiple shows, including American Ninja Warrior. Amazingly, she still has time to perform as part of an act called the Accidental Acrobats.

But why did she do it? Aside from wanting to show off her skill, the performer said she wanted to show what could be done with the power of a person’s mind.

Judging by her spins and mid-air poses, she must practice yoga.

In her posts, Noone offers nuggets of wisdom to her followers. All that wisdom must also make her super strong.

Congratulations, Leila.
