The JFK Files are being released by President Donald Trump and people are getting hyped.
The 1963 shooting of President John F. Kennedy has left many in a chokehold. He died following being shot while driving through Houston in a convertible with his wife Jackie by his side.
Marine Corps Lee Harvey Oswald was accused of killing him and was shot dead by Jack Ruby before he could face trial. Questions have always circulated regarding who was actually the killer. Inquiries have always followed the official narrative but haven’t satisfied everyone.
Trump’s promise to feels especially special for some as he has promised that he will not redact “anything” in the 80,000 files his administration promised to make public.

“You got a lot of reading,” the president said on 17 March.

Most of the documents related to the shooting of the Democratic president have already been made public, says the National Archives and Records Adminstration. A law passed in 1992 made it mandatory for all documents within 25 years unless it would hinder national security.

Anyway, the murder of the Commander-In-Chief has captured the attention of enough important people to inspire all sorts of film and TV.
The dynasty he was a part of is full of tragedy and glamour and still lasts today.
His nephew Robert F. Kennedy Jr is the current Health Secretary, and his appointment process prompted an unprecedented amount of protestation from his family members. Leading the charge were his cousin Caroline Kennedy, the oldest child of JFK and her son, Jack Schlossberg.

This National Geographic 2013 miniseries – which starred Rob Lowe as JFK and Will Rothhaar as Oswald – explored the lead-up to the assassination in Texas.
Chappaquiddick
This 2017 film isn’t about the death of JFK at all but is for a new layer of Kennedy obsessives as it follows the president’s younger brother, Senator Ted Kennedy (Jason Clarke) dealing with his part in the death of the late RFK campaign worker Mary Jo Kopechne (Kate Mara) in the summer of 1969.

This three-part Neflix documentary is a dive deep into the events surrounding the 1968 killing of Robert F. Kennedy, raising questions about the official narrative.
