Patrick Schwarzenegger cannot watch The White Lotus with his Kennedy mother.
In the HBO series, he plays Saxon Ratliff, the oldest son of Victoria (Parker Posey) and Timothy (Jason Isaacs). They also have a son, Lochlan (Sam Nivola) and daughter, Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook)
Patrick is the son of actor and former governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and broadcast journalist Maria Shriver, who in turn is the granddaughter of Joe Kennedy. The powerful political and media patriarch was the father of President John F. Kennedy and Senator Robert F. Kennedy.
Appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show, Patrick detailed a text exchanger from his mother, who asked what bit of the show he was most “nervous for” her to see.
Referencing his character’s nude scene, he told host Drew Barrymore, “I think every single one you’ve been nervous for me to watch, and you keep saying, ‘That’s not me, that’s a prosthetic.’ OK, anyway.”
“It was a little nerve-wracking watching the first episode with my whole family because I do take some clothes off,” Patrick added.

“I think some upcoming episodes I’m gonna watch without them,” he said. “I’ll definitely take a bathroom break. The next episodes are… yeah, they’re crazy!”
With two instalments to go until the end, we can now safely assume no more viewing parties at Patrick’s.

You probably aren’t right in the head if you’ve not been agast with the incestuous storyline between Saxon and Lochlan. Hopefully, all the viewers couldn’t believe their eyes when the younger brother leaned in to kiss his older brother, who many have been calling a “predator” for his behaviour towards his siblings.
Shriver has remained off-the-record with her reaction to the madness, but Patrick’s old man has been very public with his reaction. The Kindergarten Cop star posted a shocked gif of himself, quoting an on-set photo of the fictional brothers.

With all due respect, it feels pretty fair enough as their relationship has been going from stomach-churning moment to another.

Of the scene, Le Bon told Variety, “I think for Patrick it was really difficult. For Sam, he was kind of like, ‘It’s whatever, let’s just do it well one time and it will be over.’
“You know? Because if you don’t do it well the first time, then you have to do it over and over again.”
