Joseph Quinn is one of the hottest actors in the world right now, a status cemented by his casting in the Beatles biopics, but what are his iconic roles so far?
In the hotly anticipated biopics, directed by Sam Mendes, Quinn will take on the role of George Harrison. Paul Mascal will take on the role of Paul McCartney, Barry Keoghan will portray drummer Ringo Starr and Harris Dickinson will play John Lennon. Read how fans reacted to the announcement here.
Quinn will also be soon seen in the MCU, where he will play Johnny Storm/The Human Torch in the hugely anticipated Fantastic 4: First Steps movie, which comes out later this year.
This is just the beginning of his association with the MCU – his character is slated to appear in next year’s blockbuster Avengers: Doomsday movie. There may be other appearances to come, depending on how Fantastic 4: First Steps fares at the box office.

A Quiet Place: Day One (2024)
Horror prequel A Quiet Place: Day One filled viewers in on the origin of the film series about the day the aliens with super-sensitive hearing descended on Earth. Quinn played Eric, a British law student who befriends Samira (Lupita Nyong’o) the main focus of the movie. They journey together, and Eric helps Samira by finding medication for her, before they to find a way to escape what remains of Manhattan.
Gladiator II (2024)
Quinn starred in another sequel in 2024 – Gladiator II. In this historic epic, Quinn played Geta, the co-emperor of Rome, alongside his brother, Caracalla. The characters were written to be almost a replay of Romulus and Remus. The corrupt pair are focused on wars and winning new lands. But, of course, it doesn’t end well for them.
Stranger Things season 4 (2022)
Quinn’s star really began to rise when he joined the cast of Netflix supernatural drama Stranger Things in season four as Eddie Munson. Eddie quickly became a huge fan favourite during the season. The character, a student at Hawkins High School, is suspected of being behind the murders committed by Vecna, so Dustin, Mike et al fight to clear his name.
Dickensian (2015-16)
This British drama series is where Quinn really started to come to national attention. In the series, which brought together many characters from Charles Dickens novels in one neighborhood in Victorian London, Quinn played Arthur Havisham – a character originally from Great Expectations – in all 20 episodes.
