- Lady Gaga released her fifth solo album, MAYHEM, earlier this month
- One fan revealed that his own song sounds remarkably similar to Gaga’s track, Killah
- The suggestion divided opinion on social media

Fans went wild this month, as Lady Gaga released her fifth solo album, MAYHEM.
The singer – who turns 39 this Friday, March 28 – quickly shot to number one in the UK charts, with fans across the globe singing the record’s praises.
One Gaga follower, however, was left wondering if he was the inspiration behind one of the tracks.
Musician Zee Machine took to social media, as he noticed his 2018 song Brainchemistry sounded very similar to Gaga’s hit, Killah.
Captioning his video, “Is @ladygaga reheating MY nachos?”, Zee went on to question, “Did Lady Gaga copy my song?”
Playing both the catchy tunes for his followers to make up their minds, Zee had some thoughts towards the end of the video.
“Very similar…” he pointed out, before adding, “Yes, this is a f***ing joke. Kind of, because they’re similar – but I would be honored if she stole from me. Hell, steal more!”
The musician then pointed out his bleached eyebrows, and laughed, “I stole her eyebrows!”

Zee’s comments quickly divided fans online.
While some said his “track is honestly just as good”, others seemed determined to drag him down – saying, “She’s never heard your song, I assure you.”
“Be serious for a second,” said one, as another added, “You aren’t relevant enough to steal from. Nobody knows you.”
A third went on, “Babes, for her to reheat your nachos, she needs to know your nachos exist in the first place. Hope this helps.”
Others fired back at the harsh comments.
“People in the replies are so pressed, but like no, she probably didn’t steal it from you – but how cool is it that her song and your song are so similar?” they said. “Like omg, great minds think alike and they’re both fabulous songs, very cool, people are just allergic to fun!!!”
Another agreed, “Idk who the nachos belong to but they’re delicious and I’ll take them all, thank you.”
Others “demand a duet”, and agreed that Zee should be an opening act for his idol.
“I mean it’s the kind of stealing that’s legal,” someone joked. “Just send a demand letter to open for her on tour.”
Lady Gaga song compared to David Bowie

As some pointed out the similarities of both songs to David Bowie’s hits, Zee had clearly had enough.
“People just conveniently skimming over the part where I flat out say ‘this is a joke’,” he wrote. “The production ideas are very similar and the melody is almost identical and I found that amusing and cool.
“The melodies are basically identical and not Bowie inspired. Also – Gaga is my favorite artist and this is all in good fun which you’d probably know if you’d finished watching to the end (not to mention the Prince erasure!).”
Zee went on, “Muting this conversation now. If y’all replied or reposted before watching the part where I literally said ‘this is a joke’, that’s on you.
“I would f***ing die for this woman and I love that a song of mine sounds kinda similar to hers.”
We’re sure she would love it, too!
