Is Sarah Michelle Gellar returning to I Know What You Did Last Summer?
Despite supplying many updates via her Instagram account, Sarah Michelle Gellar will not return as Helen Shrivers.
She posted a picture of a director’s chair bearing the film’s name with the joke caption “Scooby Doo 3”, referencing the 00s film series she did with her husband, Prinze Jr.
When asked by PEOPLE magazine if she was appearing, Gellar said, “I’m dead.”
She went on to explain her “joke” that her role was to help the director, Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, with “continuity”.
“So I’m always the one telling her, ‘Well, that would happen, or that wouldn’t happen with those characters,’ so I do have kind of an unofficial job title,” she said.
What’s the plot?
The IMDB page is keeping it vague. We imagine so on purpose but they’ve given us a little treat.
“A group of friends is terrorized by a stalker who knows about a gruesome incident from their past,” it reads.
