The White Lotus season 3 star Patrick Schwarzenegger is already making waves on screen and off.
In Mike White’s anthology series he plays Saxon, a rich kid with a weird streak. One that’s already made its presence known, even though we’re only two episodes in.

Meanwhile, Schwarzenegger has been making headlines off-screen after responding to claims that he only landed the role thanks to his famous dad.
In case you couldn’t tell, Patrick is the son of journalist Maria Schriver and action icon Arnold Schwarzenegger. With ‘Nepo Baby’ labels being fired about Hollywood, it was surely only a matter of time before the same was aimed at Schwarzenegger Jr.

However, the star has brushed them off. Instead, he labelling them “frustrating”, asking fans to remember his years spent at acting school before immediately turning to his famous father.
Patrick Schwarzenegger responds to ‘nepo baby’ claims
Schwarzenegger was quizzed about this topic during a recent chat with The Sunday Times.
“I know there are people who’ll say I only got this role because of who my dad is,” replied the star, commenting on the accusation.
He continued, adding “they’re not seeing that I’ve had 10 years of acting classes, put on school plays every week, worked on my characters for hours on end or the hundreds of rejected auditions I’ve been on.
“Of course, it’s frustrating, and you can get boxed in,” he added, “and you think at that moment, I wish I didn’t have my last name. But that’s a small moment.”
In addition to The White Lotus’ latest outing, Schwarzenegger has also appeared in other shows. These include The Boys spin-off Gen V, Ryan Murphy’s Screen Queens and the dramatisation of the true crime documentary series The Staircase. He later re-teamed with Murphy to star as sports icon Tim Tebow in American Sports Story last year.

The White Lotus season 3 follows a new group of rich tourists as they visit a new edition of the fictional luxury hotel chain featured in the show’s title. Season 1 took viewers to Hawaii, while season 2 transported them to Sicily.
In season 3, White takes his story to Bangkok. Here, audiences are currently enjoying a developing storyline that’s began with a mystery shooter firing bullets into this tranquil resort.
Schwarzenegger plays the son of rich businessman Timothy (Jason Isaacs) and his wife Victoria (Parker Posey). However, their trip is about to be ruined by some dark dealings that have re-emerged from Timothy’s past.
Meanwhile, their children – including Schwarzenegger’s Saxon, Sarah Catherine Hook’s Piper and Sam Nivola’s Lachlan – remain happily oblivious to this impending news bomb.
