Dexter: Resurrection is a few months away. The Showtime hit has added many new faces alongside Uma Thurman, including Game Of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage. The highly-anticipated sequel to Dexter: New Blood will premiere in June 2025, as per Variety.
Dexter himself Michael C. Hall is confirmed to return alongside his on-screen son Harrison (Jack Alcott). Other familiar faces are returning in the Dexter: Resurrection cast. Dexter’s father Harry Morgan (James Remar) is back, as is his Miami Metro colleague Angel Batista (David Zayas).
Dexter premiered on Showtime in 2006 and was a major hit for the network. The show shot Hall and many actors in the cast to fame. It ran for eight seasons until 2013. Who else is in the Dexter: Resurrection cast?
Production of Dexter: Resurrection kicked off in January in New York, so new cast members have been added. A recent addition who wasn’t covered was Dinklage, who recently joined the cast. The Game of Thrones star will play a series regular role as Leon Prater. Prater is a billionaire and philanthropist with something to hide. Hmm.
On 13 February Deadline announced that more people have joined the Dexter: Resurrection cast. Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine will play Blessing Kamara, a rideshare driver who is optimistic and devoted to his local community and causes.
Kadia Saraf will play Detective Claudette Wallace, an investigator known for her intense focus and methodical approach. Dominic Fumusa is playing Wallace’s detective partner at NYPD, Melvin Olivia.
Emilia Suárez will play Elsa Rivera, Harrison’s friend and co-worker at the Empire Hotel. (Side note, how weird is it that Dexter Morgan’s son will be working at Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl’s hotel?)
