Ed Sheeran has exclusively revealed the name of his new album to Pubity and Memezar fans.
The Shape of You singer dropped the confirmation out of the blue in a comment posted to Memezar, a social media account owned and operated by Pubity Group.

“What math is he gonna do next?”
Among the many comments and reacts emerged one from the singer himself, who reflected on his lack of arithmetic skills… while making a major album title reveal.
“Irony is if you ask me anything maths related I would fail the question, I never finished high school. Play coming soon though.”

What is Ed Sheeran’s new album called?
Sheeran’s new album will be called Play, according to the singer. It’ll be the 33-year-old musician’s eighth studio album, following Autumn Variations which was released in 2023.
The Halifax-born star shot to fame with his debut + in 2011 and quickly became a worldwide star.
Before they got word from the man himself, fans on Memezar were quick to suggest their own album titles.

When is the new Ed Sheeran album released?
So far, it’s unclear when Sheeran’s new album Play will be released. The singer has simply said that it is “coming soon.”
Commenting on the singer’s change of profile picture, Memezar told its 23.4 million followers “Ed Sheehan recently changed his profile pictures guys!
Looking back through his discography, Sheehan has dropped albums at various times and dates throughout the year so it’s hard to tell when he might decide to unleash Play.
