Santa Claus, the season of goodwill and… Sabrina Carpenter?
That’s what Netflix has in store for us – as the pint-sized pop star has been given her own holiday special!
Last week, it was announced that the streaming service had given Carpenter, 25, a show – titled A Nonsense Christmas – to perform her own hits, as well as some festive classics.
But if you thought she’d be going it alone, then guess again – as Carpenter has roped in the help of some very famous faces to ring in the holidays.
Among those joining her are Chappell Roan and Shania Twain. Tyla and Kali Uchis will also join the Espresso singer.
Meanwhile, a whole host of other big names will also make appearances, including Nico Hiraga and Quinta Brunson.
Cara Delevingne, Kyle Mooney, Megan Stalter and Sean Astin are other names to be featured, as well as Owen Thiele and Jillian Bell.
“I wouldn’t count on a silent night,” Carpenter joked in the trailer, while captioning the clip on her Instagram as “hoe hoe hoe”.
Netflix also added to the excitement, and referenced Carpenter’s world tour in their caption. “The naughty list is short n’ sweet this year,” they joked.
The show will be available to be streamed from December 6.
Carpenter ‘arrests’ Margaret Qualley
But before we can get to the holidays, Carpenter has another important job to wrap up – the US leg of her Short n’ Sweet tour.
With fans flocking to her three LA dates this week, the Taste singer finished her performances on November 18.
But there were plenty of special guests in the audience – including her friend and collaborator, Jack Antonoff.
Awkwardly, Antonoff wasn’t chosen to be ‘arrested’ for ‘being too hot’ at the gig – as it was his wife, Margaret Qualley, who was bequeathed Carpenter’s fluffy pink handcuffs instead.
“Now this right there, ladies and gentlemen, this is a hottie with substance,” said the Juno singer, referencing Qualley’s recent body horror movie which co-starred Demi Moore.
