The White Lotus is returning this week and among its stars is a man with a rather recognisable surname.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son Patrick followed his father into acting and has had numerous big roles since he was a teenager. In The White Lotus, however, he might just have his most high profile role to date.
He has some other well-known names in his family too. His mother is journalist Maria Shriver and his sister Katherine is a well-known author. She is married to Chris Pratt, making him Patrick’s brother-in-law.

Patrick first appeared on screen at the age of just 10 years old in sports comedy The Benchwarmers.
His first major lead role was in 2018’s Midnight Sun, which he starred in opposite Bella Thorne. He’s also known for appearing in Netflix’s 2021 comedy-drama Moxie and the HBO true crime limited series The Staircase.
More recently, Patrick portrayed Luke Riordan / Golden Boy in the first season of The Boys spin-off Gen V.

“I think they’ve categorized him as a Southern finance bro,” Patrick told Robb Report of his role. “He’s a complete flirt that works under his father and is kind of stuck in his father’s shadow but is trying to make a name for himself in that industry, and just in life. But he’s a person that will say anything that’s on his mind and is just looking for a great vacation.
“Parker Posey plays my mom, and Jason Isaacs plays my dad. I’m the eldest of the group and I have a younger sister (Sarah Catherine Hook) and a younger brother (Sam Nivola) who I feel are lost and I’m there to help them. I can’t say much more.”
