Sam Nivola is one of the famous faces on the third series of The White Lotus.
The actor is playing Lochlan Ratcliff, the youngest kid of Timothy (Jason Isaacs) and Victoria (Parker Posey). They also have son, Sax (Patrick Schwarzenegger), and daughter, Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook) respectively.
Nivola recently admitted they were given prep by the show’s creator, Mike White. He told them to watch the Bravo reality show Southern Charm to get a feel of the vibe he wanted for the Ratcliffs.

“In fact, Jason Isaacs, who played our dad, kind of modelled his whole accent and character of [that cast],” he told PEOPLE magazine.

Who are the parents of The White Lotus star Sam Nivola?
His parents are the actor Alessandro Nivola and the actress Emily Mortimer.
The pair met on the set of the 2001 movie Love’s Labour Lost. They got married in 2003. Along with Sam, they also have 14-year-old daughter May. The brother and sister duo appeared in the 2022 apocalypse comedy White Noise.
Of their work, the film’s director, Noah Baumbach, said, “I have known Emily Mortimer and Alessandro Nivola for years and admired them tremendously.”

“We were looking for kids and went through audition after audition, and all the callbacks and these two Nivola kids kept on coming up to the surface. They were just so wonderful.”
The sibling pair also starred in the BBC’s The Pursuit of Love, which was directed by their mother.

What has he said about his parents?
In an interview with Vogue, The Perfect Couple star brushed off nepo baby allegations while talking about Hollywood parents.

“My parents aren’t, like, total celebrities. They don’t get recognised in the street,” Sam told the fashion bible.
The Maestro star – who is dating Judd Apatow’s daughter Iris Apatow – also went on to jest that he was part of “some secret cabal of nepo kids who hang out in black robes”.
